South Asian Pharmaceutical Council is Inaugurated

The inauguration of the South Asian Pharmaceutical Council (SAPC) was held at the Chutney Manor Banquet Hall on Rt. 1 in Monmouth Junction, NJ. This well-attended event featured guest speakers Ramesh Subrahmanian, President of Human Health Asia-Pacific Merck & Co., who spoke on pharmaceutical industry opportunities in South Asia; and Raman Kapur, Chairman & CEO of Midland Healthcare LLC, who spoke on diverse opportunities in pharma. These informative talks were followed by lively discussions and networking of members and guests during the social hour.

South Asian Pharmaceutical Council is Formed

The South Asian Pharmaceutical Council (SAPC) has been formed to bring together Pharma industry professionals in the US who have an interest in South Asia. SAPC intends to not only provide a means for its members to network, but also to provide programs to enhance the professional skills of its members, to support healthcare initiatives in South Asia, and to promote the achievements of South Asians in the Pharma Industry.
